The Gathering Place welcomes people aged 26 and older and have complex challenges ranging from physical illness and mental health problems to learning disabilities and addictions. The guests\u00a0of The Gathering Place come from all parts of Newfoundland and Labrador. For more than 30 years, The Gathering Place has provided services that now include 3 hot meals served 7 days a week and also include a 40 Bed Purpose-Built Permanent Shelter, 20 Transitional Housing Bed and 30 Supportive Housing Beds.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gathering Place also\u00a0operates Mercy House, which offers safe and affordable housing while <\/span>helping guests overcome barriers, build skills, strengthen relationships, and work toward greater independence. Mercy House runs <\/span>wellness and life skills development groups, giving guests opportunities to learn, connect, share experiences, and build practical skills that support their goals and overall well-being.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
