Director of RISE Community Health Centre (CHC)

Collingwood Neighbourhood House (CNH) is a not-for-profit Society serving the Renfrew-Collingwood (RC) neighbourhood of East Vancouver. CNH’s mandate is to promote the well-being of the Renfrew-Collingwood community by providing leadership and working collaboratively with individuals, families, agencies and other groups to develop and support inclusive, innovative, sustainable initiatives and services that respond to the community’s social, educational, economic, health, cultural and recreational needs.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Director of RISE CHC is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team at Collingwood Neighbourhood House (CNH), reporting directly to the Executive Director. This position provides strategic oversight for RISE CHC and direct support for the RISE CHC and RISE CHC Pharmacy managers and the RISE CHC clinical lead.

This role brings together deep expertise in health care systems, public health principles, primary care and health-promotion service delivery, the CHC model and principles, and organizational development to lead and support a diverse workforce in a non-profit setting. The Director is responsible for the effective management and integration of the RISE CHC Primary Care Clinic and Pharmacy and works collaboratively across department and programs to support health promotion in the Renfrew-Collingwood Neighbourhood.

The Director models and promotes core leadership competencies including strategic thinking, change management, emotional intelligence, decision making, communication, team building, diversity and inclusion, ethical stewardship, innovation, and creativity. By fostering a culture of accountability, well-being, and collaboration, the Director contributes to the long-term sustainability and integrity of CNH and the community it serves.
