Taking Action for a Healthier Canada

Factors such as adequate incomes, strong social support systems, safe physical environments, adequate housing and access to appropriate health and social services all have a profound impact on our health and wellbeing. CACHC and its members are committed to taking social and political action to address these various social determinants of health and to build healthy public policy across Canada. Please join the movement for a healthier Canada by getting involved in key actions.

Federal Election

During the 2015 federal election, CACHC urged all political parties to commit to four priority areas of action:

1) Address income inequality and poverty;
2) Increase access to affordable housing;
3) Implement a national Pharmacare program; and
4) Invest in Community Health Centres.

We must keep up our collective efforts! Add your name to the petitions below. Spread the word!
